Who is YPI?
YPI Board
Our voluntary-based board consists of 10 lovely members: 8 in the Netherlands and 2 in the Middle East region. The board of YPI is responsible for determining the overall strategy of the organisation and establishing and maintaining the YPI network. Every other week, the board in The Netherlands comes together in the Humanity Hub in The Hague (or online during Covid-related restrictions) to set up the different YPI programmes, while the members in the region are committed to the execution of the YPI strategy.

The advisory council of Youth Peace Initiative provides the organisation with strategic advise and guidance with regards to the overall YPI strategy and individual programmes and events.

Stichting Youth Peace Initiative is een Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling. Vanwege de wettelijke eisen om een ANBI-status te kunnen behouden voor Stichting Youth Peace Initiative moet aan de publicatieplicht worden voldaan.

De stichting heeft ten doel:
Het betrekken van jongeren bij internationale vredesvraagstukken en voorts al hetgeen met een en ander rechtstreeks of zijdelings verband houdt of daartoe bevorderlijk kan zijn, alles in de ruimste zin des woords.
De stichting tracht haar doel onder meer te verwezenlijken door het organiseren van (internationale) bijeenkomsten.
De stichting beoogt niet het maken van winst.

Statuten:
Aan bestuurders kan geen bezoldiging worden toegekend voor hun werkzaamheden. Bestuurders en eventuele andere beleidsbepalers van de Stichting ontvangen voor de ter zake van de door hen voor de Stichting verrichte werkzaamheden geen andere beloning dan e en vergoeding voor gemaakte onkosten en een niet bovenmatig vacatiegeld. Deze vergoeding van de onkosten worden in de jaarrekening zichtbaar gemaakt en nader toegelicht.
Er wordt slechts een onkostenvergoeding uitgekeerd, als er onkosten worden gemaakt door bestuurders welke direct het doel van de stichting dienen.
