On March 18th, Youth Peace Initiative celebrated its fifth anniversary!
Over the last year, YPI has been growing and developing as an organisation. We welcomed a new Secretary, a new Programme Officer in The Netherlands, and an extra board member in the region!
Highlights of last year were most definitely the start of YPI’s first year-programme: the Young Leadership Experience, launching the Next Generation Peacebuilders video contest and developing the Youth Carnegie Peace Prize, together with the United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY) and the Peace Palace.
We look back on a great year, and forward to a promising and successful future!
